Sarah always had an interest in art from graphics to ceramics. Inspired by a photo in Time magazine, she chose photojournalism as a career. In school, however, she found this occupation to be life threatening and vain. Unsure of her options, Sarah worked in professional photo labs and photo-assisting to learn more about technique and business. Willing to do virtually any job, Sarah gained experience in many aspects of photography including architecture, events, ceremonies, festivals and portraits.

Miss Martin learned that make-up students graduate without portfolios and discovered an opportunity to help others, while exploring a unique business proposition. Understanding the constraints of being a student, Sarah has come up with a variety of ways to help build excellent portfolios.

Working in the business aspect of photography, Sarah missed the artistic aspect of her profession. This year Sarah is broadening her artist within. Here is a glimpse into the past year. Please enjoy.
